Pediatric follow-up, immunizations

The immunization follow-up of children of Kawawachikamach is conducted according to the recommendations of ABCD’aire, a pediatric follow-up tool developed by CHU Sainte-Justine.

All basic care nurses have been trained to use this tool and appointments are scheduled at the frequencies it suggests. Infant immunization is done at the time prescribed by the protocole d’immunisation du Québec (PIQ) [Quebec immunization protocol].
