The CLSC Naskapi is looking for candidates to build our recall list for our reception and our dentistry department. The selected candidates will be part of the replacement pool for these departments and will be called upon to work based on the employer’s needs and the availabilities they have confirmed.
Brief description of functions
Person who welcomes, informs, refers, and accompanies users. They ensure the users’ comfort and general needs. They may provide basic care and set up certain equipment.
They may also perform simple housekeeping and clerical tasks.
This person must be able to translate the statements of resource persons and Naskapi users.
Specific functions and requirements
Specific Responsibilities
- Welcome, inform, refer, and accompany users;
- Manage voice mail and phone calls;
- Open, update and maintain users’ files in Myle system and Dentitek;
- Manage travelling information for patients and escorts;
- Contact patients for appointments;
- Help booking specialists’ schedule;
- Prepare procurement orders for general supplies;
- Any other tasks requested by his immediate superior.
Requirements
- Fluency in oral Naskapi;
- Fluency in oral and written English;
- Fluency in oral French is an asset;
- Computer literate (Outlook, Word). Training on the Myle and Dentek software will be provided on site.
- Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness and autonomy;
- Patience;
- Reliable.
Priority will be given to beneficiaries of the Northeastern Quebec Agreement
Working conditions
- Hourly rate of $28,65;
- Day shift – 8h 30 a.m. to 16h 30 p.m.;
- The schedule will depend on given availabilities and needs for replacements;
- Isolation premium of $227,69/week of 35 hours (without dependent) or $401,36/week of 35 hours (with dependent), paid each pay period prorated to the hours worked;
- Retention premium starting at $1,513 annually (prorated to the hours worked) for an employee with less than one year of continuous service at the Naskapi CLSC;
- Cargo premium $83.75/week of 35 hours (adult and child 12 years and older), $41.88/week of 35 hours (child under 12);
- Group insurance;
- Pension plan (RREGOP).
