Brief description of functions
The specialized IT analyst serves as an expert in their field of information technology. They coordinate, supervise, and carry out complex activities related to the analysis, design, implementation, and evolution of computer systems. They work within multisite and cross-sector technological environments, ensure the consistency and security of deployed solutions, and contribute to the strategic planning of digital projects. They may also oversee the work of an IT team while ensuring the achievement of organizational objectives.
Specific functions and requirements
Specific Duties:
- Coordinate, manage, and supervise activities related to the analysis, implementation, evolution, deployment, and operational support of technology projects
- Work on complex information systems
-Act as an expert in their area of specialization
- Supervise and coordinate the work of an IT team
- Ensure the consistency, security, and performance of deployed technological solutions
- Participate in the strategic planning of the organization’s digital projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant university discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in the health and social services network (an asset)
- Network certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, or CompTIA Network (an asset)
- Knowledge of IT network projects, clinical, medico-administrative, administrative, or business documentation (an asset)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent analytical skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and autonomy
- Open-minded toward cultural differences, empathetic, and highly adaptable
Working conditions
- Hourly rate based on experience (between $30.71 and $56.34)
- Remote work
- Remote location allowances for travel to northern regions (if required)
- Possibility of receiving northern leave if currently working in the health network
